We are now on the haunt for more CBID Members to get involved in 2020.

Great news! The ‘Our Coleraine’ video marketing campaign has been storming local media pages. Watch all the videos on the Our Coleraine facebook page (over 100k views so far!)

You may have seen our new signage on vacant units in Kingsgate St / Long commons. (Insert pic) We have also asked permission to do similar welcoming graphics on Railway Rd and other locations, if you are a landlord please get in touch for a free 2020 re-image.

 Council Lobbying Update;

From the feedback we received from you on the ground, we have written to the Chief Executive of CCGC for the following support;

  • The safe opening of public toilets in Coleraine town centre
  • A delay of policy measures and relaxation of restrictions on our hospitality businesses offering a safe option of outdoor seating where able.
  • A deep clean & sanitisation of the towns public areas & temporary clean team to regularly sanitise the public realm
  • Continuing the support for car park users visiting Coleraine while the car parks are not full.

Coleraine BID announces new online trading platform in response to COVID-19

Coleraine Business Improvement District is asking the town’s retailers to join a collaborative online marketplace in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

With footfall declining in the town as a side effect of self-isolation and coronavirus concerns, the BID team has announced its creative approach to keeping the tills ringing which benefits both consumers and businesses.

Coleraine’s ‘Shopappy’ scheme, which is the first of its kind in Northern Ireland, supports shopping locally from the comfort of your own home where you can order from a range of registered outlets. There’s no cost for local delivery and the BID team has pledged to cover the subscription cost for businesses for the next year.
