Owners and Managers Introduction Meet on Tuesday 5th Dec
Coleraine town is about to embark on the introduction of a Business Improvement District, BID, being supported by Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council and The Department for Communities. All businesses located in Coleraine town are invited to attend a short open meeting of this exciting new initiative on Tuesday 5th December from 5.30 -6.30pm at Rocca café, 11-15 Bridge Street, Coleraine.
Ian Donaghey, Chair of Coleraine Town Team stated, “This is a fantastic opportunity for Coleraine town centre businesses to get involved in the future of their town. Coleraine Town Team has closely followed the concept of business improvement districts across the UK and have been working with Council and the department for communities to ensure that Coleraine is involved. Since the introduction of the legislation in NI, seven BIDs have been successful to date and now is the time for Coleraine businesses to back this concept.”
Jamie Hamill, recently appointed as the BID Development Manager for Coleraine explained, “For me, the USP of a BID is that it is business led, and gives local traders and managers a budget to invest in the changes they want to see in their Town.”
Evidence has shown that being part of a BID adds value to all businesses located within it so come along and find out what it can do for your business.
